Every Saturday evening in February, please join us for an exclusive pairing flight: curated cheeses from local purveyor, Farmstead Cheeses and Wines, matched perfectly with four very special Hangar 1 vodkas.
The tour will include an in-depth education on how our Hangar 1 vodkas are made, and will conclude with a tasting in a private space that most guests have not seen, Head Distiller Caley Shoemaker’s private innovation laboratory. In the lab, Farmstead Cheesemonger Michael Albrant will elaborate on the choices he made for pairing with the Hangar 1 flavors. Hangar 1 will be showcasing the Hangar 1 Straight vodka, as well as two selections from our small-batch Distiller’s Exclusives line, Pink Peppercorn and Honeycomb. The tasting will also include the much-lauded Fog Point vodka, which has a unique origin story that you are certain to find fascinating.
With your ticket purchase, you will also receive a discount for purchases at Farmstead Cheeses and Wines, with store locations in the Alameda Marketplace, as well as in Montclair. You will receive $5 off a purchase of $30 or more, and $10 off a purchase of $100 or more. Some restrictions apply. See stores for details.
The tour and tasting together run an average of 1-1.5 hours.
Please note that California law stipulates: Tastings of distilled spirits shall not exceed 0.25oz and shall be limited to no more than six (6) tastes per individual per day.
A valid I.D. is required upon check-in for all guests participating in the tasting. Unfortunately, we cannot permit anyone under the age of 21 on our tours. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause.
