1 1/2 oz Hangar 1 Honeycomb Vodka 1/2 a ripe Bartlett Pear 1/2 oz honey thyme syrup* 1/2 oz Meyer lemon juice Pear slices for garnish
PREPARATION:Add Hangar 1 Honeycomb Vodka, Meyer lemon, honey-thyme syrup, and pear to a cocktail shaker. Muddle the pear to release its flavor and fill the cocktail shaker 3/4 full of ice. Shake for 20 seconds and then double fine strain it into a coupe. Add pear garnish. Honey Thyme Syrup Recipe* 1 tsp of Hangar 1 Honeycomb Vodka 4 oz honey 2 oz water 3 tbsp thyme leaves Simmer honey and water until they combine, stirring regularly. Add the thyme leaves and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes while continuing to stir. Strain out the thyme leaves and allow to cool to room temperature. Add vodka and store the syrup in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two weeks.
